Annotation. The article deals with the problems associated with the content of school educational projects in mathematics. The main emphasis is placed on the technology of selecting content for the project. The methods of setting the project problem, structuring the goals and objectives of the project are described. The ways of choosing a project topic are presented. The results of the training seminars, which are held within the framework of the network interaction of the methodical association of teachers of mathematics, are shown. Examples of the content of educational tasks (tasks) are given, by means of which the teacher can bring the student to the choice of the research topic and the formulation of the project tasks. The novelty of the proposed solution lies in the idea of the influence of a systematic approach in structuring the content of research and creative projects. The arguments of the direct influence of the developed system of practices on the effectiveness of the organized project work with schoolchildren are presented.
