Abstract. Introduction. The article reveals the essence of tutoring in a sports school and suggests organizational and pedagogical conditions that ensure the effectiveness of tutoring in working with young hockey players. The introduction focuses on the importance of a class teacher with tutoring competencies, emphasizes the need for an individual approach and the creation of a trusting atmosphere in the sports classroom. Methodology. The research methodology includes an activity-based, systematic and personality-oriented approach, an analysis of existing tutoring practices, interviews with coaches and parents, as well as observations of the learning and training process. Results. The results show that the introduced organizational and pedagogical conditions of tutor support contribute to an increase in the level of emotional stability, motivation, manifestation of individualization, desire to participate in competitions and confidence of young hockey players in team interaction during competitions. Conclusions. The conclusions confirm that the created organizational and pedagogical conditions contribute to the successful development, manifestation of individualization and achievement of high sports results by young athletes.
